It depends on the design of the gutter protection device. It is not ideal to have anything over, on top of or covering Vented Drip Edge even if there are airflow openings provided in the covering material. The concern is the Net Free Area of the Vented Drip Edge will be reduced. By how much, we don?t know. But again, the product was not designed to be covered, obstructed or blocked.
