How well will the 1 in. x 10 ft. Paper-Faced Inside Drywall Corner Bead work to tape the inside joint between the walls and ceilings?
Taping the inside corners of wall to ceiling drywall connections is a common practice.
Taping the inside corners of wall to ceiling drywall connections is a common practice. In fact without this taped connection the joint can sometimes crack due to thermal & vibrational movement. Ensure both sides of the metal portion of trim are touching the drywall, apply joint compound, press paper-faced bead onto wall and into position. Corner bead should be aligned tightly to ceiling. Use even pressure to press out excess compound and eliminate air bubbles. Allow the joint compound to dry completely and sand lightly to remove high spots. Now you are ready for the finish coat.
