To remove chalking, the following mixtures are suggested: a.  cup phosphate-free laundry detergent in one gallon of fresh tap water b. 1 ounce liquid dishwashing detergent in one gallon of fresh tap water c.  cup household bleach in one gallon of fresh tap water d.  cup household ammonia in one gallon of fresh tap water e.  cup of Simple Green? in one gallon of fresh tap water Clean using a well-soaked cloth, sponge, soft-bristled brush (stiff bristles ay scratch or mar the paint finish), or a low-pressure spray washer. It is IMPERATIVE that the roof be rinsed thoroughly after washing in order to remove all traces of the cleaning agent; failure to do so may result in residue adhering to the panels. These residues attract dirt, which could potentially be damaging to the paint film.
