# Any suggestions regarding how to paint continuous soffit vents?

## If painting continuous soffit vents, use spray paint.

If painting continuous soffit vents, use spray paint. Latex based paint could lend itself to mold if the conditions are right. It would be best to de-gloss the surface. Use either a TSP solution or rough it up with a light sanding. Spray painting instead of brush painting will help prevent clogging the airflow openings in the vent.
