Is it OK to use a whole-house fan in a cupola?

Air Vent does not recommend it. A cupola is nothing more than a four-sided wall louver. If there is the remotest chance of weather coming through the cupola, it would cause major problems for the whole-house fan which would be mounted directly underneath.
