# It is OK to remove the screen in the rectangular undereave vents to minimize it becoming clogged with dirt and debris?

## Air Vent does not recommend removing the screen in the rectangular undereave vents.

Air Vent does not recommend removing the screen. It would be better to keep the screen in place and then periodically replaced the entire vent if the screen does become clogged with dirt/debris.
