# Can The Edge Vent be installed on top of gutter clips?

## The Edge Vent cannot be installed on top of gutter clips.

Air Vent has not seen a situation where roof-mounted gutter clips have worked with The Edge Vent. What happens is that the clips going over the vent don't have good anchorage through the product. Going under the vent will cause the vent to look wavy and affects the seal between the product and the deck.
