Galvanized Steel Drip Edge Flashing be painted? ## One of the many benefits to flashing is it can be repainted. One of the many benefits to flashing is it can be repainted. This can be done to extend the life of the panels or simply for a different look. As long as the old finish is well adhered to the metal, it will provide a great surface for a new coating. We suggest cleaning the painted roof by power washing or using a TSP solution.
