It is possible to cut the bottom of The Edge Vent and leave the top piece intact where it can be sloped down to blend in to the decking in a gradual taper, but the installer will need to come up with a solution for the gap created by this. Air Vent at the present time does not make a transition piece to handle an application such as this.
