Can Metal Roofing Panels Be Painted?
Yes.
Yes, metal roofing panels can be painted. Galvanized Metal Roofing Panels can be ordered in a pre-painted finish. This is one of the many benefits to metal roofing. Painting can be done to extend the life of the panels or simply to create a different look. As long as the old finish is well adhered to the metal, it will provide a great surface for a new coating. If you decide to paint we recommend using a good quality DTM (Direct To Metal) paint. To prepare the surface wipe down with (50/50) vinegar and water solution, this will remove any residue remaining from fabrication. |
