Can Ludowici Slate Tile be used on ShingleVent II-9?

It is possible Ludowici slate tile can safely be installed on ShingleVent II-9 with the following notes.

Without the benefit of having the Ludowici product handy, the website information suggests the dimensions would work with the 9-inch ShingleVent II (Ludowici Slate Tile has two sizes). The weight of the material seems to be compatible. Make sure that the cap shingles/tiles are not obstructing the airflow opening along either side of ShingleVent II-9. This will ensure the full Net Free Area airflow will be available to the ventilation system.
